Gudrun Xpert becomes Finc – welcome to our renewed website.
Can you spot a logical error in a complex workflow from a mile away?
We need you!
At Finc, we help individuals, banks, and insurers make smarter real estate decisions by combining data, valuation expertise, and technology. Our tools are essential for defining property value and assessing market risk—and we are constantly evolving.
As our products grow, so does the complexity of our business logic. That’s where you come in. We are moving away from shared testing responsibilities to create a dedicated Business Test Engineer role.
You will focus on validating workflows based on real-world user scenarios and deep business knowledge. If you want to understand our industry and take full ownership of product quality—without needing a technical or coding background—this is the perfect challenge for you.
What you’ll do:
- Translate business requirements and workflows into clear and meaningful test scenarios
- Test new features, integrations, and releases before they go live
- Execute and maintain integration and regression tests
- Detect, document, and follow up on bugs and inconsistencies in collaboration with our IT department / software developers
- Collaborate closely with product, business, and development teams
- Continuously improve our testing approach and documentation
- Experiment with AI-assisted testing, such as smart test generation or faster regression testing / to automated regression and anomaly detection
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in testing, QA, business or process analysis
- Master’s degree (preferably in Business Engineering, Commercial Sciences, Business Management, Applied Economics, IT, Data/Process Management,…)
- The ability to gain an understanding of our business domain, products, and workflows
- Strong analytical mindset and a structured way of working
- Affinity with data, reporting, or business applications
- Interest in automation or AI-based tools and motivation to develop your expertise in testing and quality assurance.
- Ability to work autonomously while communicating clearly with the team
- Able to communicate confidently & professionally in Dutch and English
- Curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to dig into details
What you don’t necessarily need
❌ Coding or programming skills
❌ An IT or engineering degree
What matters most is business insight, ownership, and a learning mindset.
